Front end designer. Designing interfaces for web and mobile, creating graphics and coding for the web since 2006

Foodband mobile site

About: Foodband is a chain of sushi and pizza delivery places in Moscow. Having most of their orders coming from the website they decided to improve user experience by designing a special version of the site for users on mobile devices.

My role: UI/UX designer

The main goal was to create a simpler interface with flat elements to make the experience of making an order easier and faster.

I used the palette of orange brown and white colors from the design of the desktop site but other elements were changed to look more native for mobile platforms.

Considering the simplicity of the design language mobile site didn’t require prototyping so we went with the client through iterations and finally tweaked some of the elements on the live code.

How it works

First time clients will be offered to begin with a small payed project, for example finding a design language for one page. It might take 2-4 hours and client pays fixed hourly rate.

Every big project is divided into smaller milestones. Client gets his deliverables and pays according to the timesheet for hours spent on the project after each milestone.

Send an email with a short description of your project. You’ll get a quick response and we’ll be able to start working after agreeing on the details and terms.
